odds and ends

His name is Allen but everyone calls him Boots. While taking pictures at his 80th birthday party - his first and only party ever - I asked him "What do you think has been the best part of your 80 years?" Without missing a beat he says..."All of it."
   
This local band photo shoot was one of the most fun, out-of-the-box photo shoots I have ever done. Good guys who love what they do.
   
     
  
This lab accompanied a family on their photo shoot and ended up having a great time romping around the knee-high grass. When I snapped this photo near the end of the day, she was just starting to slow....but not before she took a dip in the pond!
